I was just now again at the hardware store. I found immediately fiberglass rod elements for the tent structure, but 5x65cm cost 10 € - I need 10 boxes of it, would be 100 € ONLY to the spreader arms. Then there's still
plastic rods for Planzenanzucht, 210cm x 16mm for 2.80 euros each, are about 45 € for the spreader arms. At least a halving of the cost.
240cm bamboo (very crooked) there was also for 2.80 euros. But I find it unusable.
electrical insulation pipe gabs too. 200cm x 20mm for 0.79 cents - makes just under 13 €. However, these tubes are not rigid enough. Therefore fall away.
And finally, I've never looked for simple rods made of spruce wood. 240cm 2.16 euros, would be almost 35 € for the spreader arms. After all, nearly 29% cheaper than the plastic rods, but more susceptible to weather and not stiff enough.

Conclusion: The most optimal solution for
the spreader arms are the plants growing rods of plastic (210cm x 16mm) for about 45 €.


Ultimately, the question arises whether the benefits of covering the costs and whether you want more of a short-term gimmick, or something equally robust for the next few years.
So either you do it correctly, or build something inferior, it costs hardly anything.
Since what is cheap and the electrical components, such as the quality includes, I will go and to build the cheapest model.

- all other components remain
