1997 (or 98) my mother bought us an artificial Christmas tree. He was practical and beautiful to see. However, I am not very good when it comes to such projects. Because I forgot the year.
So I was quite amazed when it came to this year's building of the tree. Traditionally, on 4 Advent (we do not do earlier, I think it would spoil the Christmas when we decorate too soon - with my parents, we have set up the tree as late on Christmas Eve) so we put everything at hand - even those dä namely Christmas tree stand. My son was to me here help - unfortunately he did everything other than help. He was wrong and the tribe was happy with stupid comments. I despaired when tightening the screws. When, after hours finally felt the tree was attached, I reviewed my work .... and was disappointed. The tree was again skewed. Then I turned and wurschtelte again - until everything was okay. Well, now the tree had only one piece will be pushed back. And then it happened again. He tipped!
So again turned around and gewurschtelt. But really, I got just did not see it. At one point I was tired and we expanded to the rest of the tree and decorate it. So now he has a holistic little difficulties and the panic of course great that the tree will eventually do what has failed, the Leaning Tower of Pisa all the centuries. He must endure, yet only 2 weeks, Menno.
When I am, however, certain: The devil's work has definitely created a woman - otherwise the structure of the tree have been much easier!
Maybe someone NEN tip on how I get the tree in retrospect but still straight, without reducing everything again?
